dc.description	Sengkirai are a type of fishing gear included as a trap fishing gear. The frame is made of wood and the walls use p o l y e t h y l e n e n e t s o r n y l o n n e t s measuring 2 -4 inches. This tool has an entrance which functions as a place for fish to enter. The number of entrances in the pot trap can vary depending on the size of the tool. It uses polyethylene rope or small rope as reinforcement and shaper on the valve parts and body. In the classification of FAO fishing gear, it is categorized as pot trap with the ISSFCG code 08.2.0. Pot trap has a nylon mesh size of 1 - 2 inches, targeting all types of fish. It is operated in riverside areas, floodplain area, valleys, and also canals or waterways with a slow current. It can be operated all the time because it can catch all types of fish.	en
