dc.description | Habitat Living in rivers, peatlands, lakes, and swamps. It is benthopelagic fish species with a pH between 4-8 and a water temperature of 220C-300C. Distribution It has been documented that the fish can be found in peninsular Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia. The distribution area in Indonesia is in Sumatra, Kalimantan and Java. Food This fish is omnivorous fish species which eat detritus food, aquatic plants, and benthos animals. Reproduction Its spawning period is throughout the year and the peak is at the beginning of the rainy season. They usually make nests to lay their eggs. | en |
