dc.descriptionFishing gear with a cone shape, which is made of nylon or polyethylene thread. On the bottom is weighted from tin as a whole. The length of the mesh between 4 - 6 m, with mesh of 0.5 - 2 inches. Equipped with a rope to pull and lift the nets. In the classification of FAO, this fishing gear is classified into the falling gear category, namely the gear that is dropped, with the code ISSCFG 06.1.0 It's operated in shallow waters on the outskirts of main rivers, tributaries, swamps and lakes, the bottom of the water which is free from wood waste or wooden stumps. The catches are of various types and sizes, such as giant prawns, mystus nemurus, trichogaster, h e l o s t o m a t e m m i n c k i i , a n a b a s testudineus, and other types of fish. The cast nets are arranged and thrown in such a way so that when they are thrown the nets will open and form a circle. As soon as the net touches the surface of the water, it will immediately sink because of the ballast attached. Then, the nets are pulled and lifted by the rope that has been attached to the nets.en
